Richard Kemp is a full-time, full-service Managing Broker in the Gig Harbor office of Coldwell Banker Bain and has been the top producing agent in that office since he joined the company in 1997, consistently earning Coldwell Banker’s highest achievement awards. CB Bain is one of only two Washington companies ranked by Realtor magazine in the top 100 real estate companies in the country, and among those CB Bain brokers, Richard is in the top 0.5%. He has been one of the top 10 agents in Washington State numerous times. And he has been distinguished by Seattle Magazine as among the “Best in Client Satisfaction.”

Richard’s affiliation with The National Association of Realtors and his own personal convictions mean he subscribes to the REALTOR Code of Ethics in all his transactions. He holds a Managing Broker license, the highest level of state licensure. That advanced training and the fact that he has averaged 6 times more transactions than the average of agents in the top 100 companies allow him to provide his clients with a rare degree of contract and negotiation expertise, ensuring that they are protected throughout the purchase and sale process and get the best deal possible. In 2006, Richard welcomed his son Marc Kemp, an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, to the family business and credits Marc’s background in higher education and technology with enhancing their state-of-the-art Internet marketing program, a critical element in today’s fast-changing real estate landscape. Additionally, their clients get the benefit of two full-time agents working on their behalf.
Richard’s primary market area is Gig Harbor and the surrounding communities of Fox Island, Tacoma, University Place, the Key Peninsula, Port Orchard, Bremerton, Silverdale, and Poulsbo. But Richard also works with clients throughout the Greater Puget Sound, including Pierce, Kitsap, Mason, King, Snohomish, Thurston, and Lewis Counties.
