""I have nothing but praise for Ricklie Stone and her ability to sell. I had to manage an Estate sale in West Seattle from Boston at the time of a national depression caused by tumbling house prices. I doubt whether there has ever been a more challenging market for selling a house. The house in question was a gem with a fantastic view and gardens, but old, small, and quirky, so it was not the kind of house with mass appeal. She quickly realized that success would only come with numbers--that is by getting lots of exposure for the house.
Ricklie recruited her colleague Ron Waxman, so we actually had two agents with 100% coverage for the price of one. They arranged staging, agent tours, cleaning, advertisement, and showings with minimal input from me. She helped organize an agent tour of properties in the area that netted 43 visits one weekend. I have no idea how many showings and open houses she and Ron organized, but it was impressive and they were personally there for every one.
Her communication was meticulous and voluminous, so I always knew the status of the price setting, preparation, showings, and prospects. Every time I wrote, she responded almost immediately with thoughtful, thorough answers.
Her energy and responsiveness was in stark contrast to an agent we have who is selling our home in Massachusetts. This guy goes through the motions but without the energy and commitment of Ricklie. As a result, we've shown to only a few agents and fewer buyers.
But all Ricklie's activity would have amounted to nothing without a sale. In the middle of the economic downturn, during a slow season for sales, we got a surprisingly good offer and closed. In all this time, I never met Ricklie face-to-face, but I feel she is a permanent friend and impressive entrepreneur.
My advice: Stick with Ricklie.""
