We met Michelle at one of her listings in 2008. She struck us as a very experienced real estate agent willing to work hard on our behalf ... yet humble, a good listener, and not too pushy. This was important to us as we did not need to move right away and were looking for a combination of things in our home purchase that was going to take some time. Michelle worked with my wife and I for over a year looking at houses in the Edmonds area. We looked at virtually every house in the 98020 zip code online that met our criteria, and easily toured more than a dozen. We made offers on three different houses. We walked away from the first house, were outbid on the second house, and closed on the third house. The house we ultimately purchased did not show well online, so much so that we were not interested in even seeing it. After a year of working with Michelle, she knew what we wanted in a house, knew the compromises we'd be willing to make in our criteria, and insisted we tour the house. Having approached burn out a number of times in the process, as I recall this was the only house she insisted we take a look at. Needless to say, we loved it. We met Michelle through my on-line searches for a new home. She was the listing agent for one of the properties. Her approach to selling homes is a little different from most other agents I had met, one of patience and calmness. She is an excellent listener, very non-judgmental. Michelle patiently showed us properties I found through my own research, plus others. She did not pressure us to buy any old house just to make a commission, and in some cases actively discouraged us from making an offer on a home that was not perfect. With every house, she emphasized the good features, but also honestly told us of the negatives. With her expert eye, she noticed potential problems (e.g., evidence of past water leaks in obscure corners) that we would not have spotted on our own. Just as I was despairing that we would never find the right home for us, Michelle showed us a house new on the market which was a little outside our ideal neighborhood and a little smaller than we believed we needed. She encouraged us to think outside the box. Of course, that is the house we purchased and it is perfect for us. It had been 25 years since we had last bought a home. The whole process had changed significantly. Michelle actively helped us through the entire process. She aggressively represented our interests with the selling agent and his clients. She timely addressed our concerns and made sure that the final agreement was fair to all parties. I highly recommend Michelle as an agent. We were lucky to have her assistance. She is wonderful.

Michelle was the listing agent for two condos lived in and owned by my elderly, very frail parents. She worked tirelessly with my husband and me to make sure my parents had the best representation and advocacy possible. My parents moved from one condo to another in the Edmonds bowl area. When the time came for them to leave their second condo, it was very difficult because both my parents were experiencing deteriorating health and they were sad to leave their home. She recommended skilled and reliable Edmonds workers from painters to tile cleaners to contractors who made the condo sparkle for a reasonable price. Because of her careful and thoughtful negotiating, she sold the condo quickly, for a good price and did the best job for my parents that any agent could ever do. As an added bonus, My parents and/or I can call Michelle at a moment's notice with any real estate questions we might have. She always takes the time to help with our inquiries. I feel like I have a personal real estate consultant that I know to be extremely knowledgeable, thorough, ALWAYS ethical, and an amazing listener as well! Michelle is there for her clients, past and present. I believe that the part of her job she most enjoys is getting to know her clients and succeeding in helping them reach their real estate goals. As a recipient of what she puts together I am always pleased. As the loan officer she chooses to refer some of her customers to I'm impressed with how she works with her buyers, She wants her buyers to be as educated as possible ahead of time so they will be ready to make a decision when they find their dream home. In my dealings with her I've found her two strong points are patience and negotiating. In this market she gets to use those skills to the maximum on every transaction. Her buyers tell me all the time how delighted they are that Michelle is representing them. Michelle helped me buy my current home as well as sell the home I was leaving. She was patient and helped me understand what was going on every step of the way. When there were problems or questions, her response was immediate and she helped me until they were resolved/answered. She was unfamiliar with the neighborhood I was leaving but spent a lot of time studying the market there as well as familiarizing herself with the neighborhood. She helped me get the house ready to sell. There were multiple offers after the first open house and the house was sold two days later. Michelle just finished helping my daughter to buy a home and displayed the same expertise and professionalism she had done with me. Her patience was admirable!
